Day Program Remark
Day 1 Reception at Paro Airport & move to Thimpu.
Night stay at Thimpu.
  1. Reception at Paro Airport & drive to Thimpu, transfer to hotel for night stay.
  2. Afternoon visit National Museum.
Day 2 Local Paro visit.
Night Stay at Paro.
  1. Visit Kichu Lhakhang, Drukgyal Dzong & hike to Tiger's nest.
Day 3 Pick-up from hotel & move to Thimpu.
Night stay at Thimpu.
  1. On arrival visit King's memorial chorten (temple) & other places.
Day 4 Local Thimpu Visit.
Night Stay at Thimpu.
  1. Full day sight seeing at Thimpu.
  2. Places of attraction in Thimpu are National Library, Folk & Hetritage Museum, Late King's memorial stupa, hand made paper factory, painting school, Majestic Tashichhodzong, National Handicraft Emporium.
Day 5 Pick-up from hotel & drive to Punakha & Wangdue Phodrang.
Night Stay at Punakha.
  1. On arrivallocal Punakha visit. Later go on hiking to the Temple of Khamsun Yuley Lakhang OT the temple of Chimi Lakhang.
  2. In mroning drive to visit Punakha Dzong (Fortress). Further drive to visit Souvenir making centre suppported by youth development fund.
Day 6 Pick-up from hotel & move to Jakar.
Night stay at Jakar.
  1. After breakfast move to Jakar, pass through Punakha passes & Chuzomsa & cross black mountain Pele la pass, from here on a very clear day you can view Mt. Jumolhari.
  2. Visit Chendebji Chorten, Trongsa Dzong, Zugney Village - to see weaving of Yathra (A deep colored wool textile)
Day 7 Full day Bumthang Valley.
Night stay at Jakar.
  1. Places of attraction are Jambay Ihakang, Chakar Temple (Iron Castel), Kurjey Monastery Complex. Walk through suspension bridge over Chamkhar Chu river to Tamshing Lhakang. New monastery of Namhai Nyingpo, the traditional hospital, Jakar Dzong & Lamy Gompa etc.
Day 8 Local Ura Valley Visit.
Night Stay at Ura.
  1. Full day Ura Valley Excursion.
Day 9 Pick-up from hotel & move to Bumthang.
Night Stay at Bumthang.
  1. Return to the festival ground. Watch the festival all day and drive back to Bumthang late afternoon.
Day 10 Pick-up from hotel & move to Trongsa.
Night Stay at Trongsa.
  1. Drive through Yotongla pass to reach Trongsa. In afternoon visit huge & historical Trongsa Dzong & Ta Dzong (Watch Tower) - which is now house the temple dedicated to Jigme Namgyel, father of first king of Bhutan.
Day 11 Pick-up from hotel & move to Paro.
Night Stay at Paro.
  1. On arrival check-in into hotel for night stay.
Day 12 Pick-Up from Hotel & drop at Paro Airport.
